A Bad Hair Day

Didn't think my first natural hair post on my first natural hair blog would be about a bad hair day, but hey, we all have them; it isn't my first and won't be my last.  So, what had happened was...well, I don't exactly know.  I have a weekly routine that consists of a prepoo, wash, deep condition and style..that never changes and happens every Sat-Sun.  So last weekend, I completed my usual regimen, and when it was time to style, (which is usually twists for a twist out 95% of the time) my hair of course was saturated with water from it being washed, so I used Cantu Shea Butter as my leave in, Eco Styler Olive Oil gel as my styler, and Hennasooq's Cocoveda Hair oil to seal it all in..my hair was fabulous as you can tell from the photo (I couldn't dare post today's mess..LOL). It was very well mositurized, defined, had hold, and yet my hair was amazingly soft.  So this past weekend, I did all the same things..I mean even use the same shampoo and deep conditioner, EXCEPT I used coconut oil to seal instead of the cocoveda and my hair...well, it wasn't as great.  I got some definition..but it came out super soft and frizzy and not nearly as moisturized.  I love frizz, but I usually don't get/look for it til around day four or five of my twist out.  But, I don't know..today's hair is no bueno.  Maybe I didn't use as much product as I did last weekend.  I really can't figure why the change in hair oil would make a difference..tho the cocoveda is the business..it really is one of the best oils I've ever used.  But, I don't know..something went wrong somewhere in the process.  I can not wait to get home and play in my hair and fix it!! Well tomorrow's a new day.  I'm looking forward to a much better hair day...~SMOOCHES...XOXOXO~
